Hyundai Accent - front-wheel drive B-class sedan.
The fifth generation Hyundai Accent has been in production since 2016. The first car appeared for the Chinese market under the name Verna (the same name in India). In 2017, a similar sedan with some visual and technical differences debuted in Russia with the traditional designation Solaris and eventually began to be sold in Belarus and Ukraine as Hyundai Accent. However, soon after the debut, they began to supply Ukraine with Fourth generation Hyundai Accent (RB) Korean-made, and sales of Accent/Solaris assembled in Russia have ceased. Accent returned to the fifth iteration only in November 2020, already in a restyled appearance and with Indian origin.
A striking element of the appearance of the updated Accent is a massive radiator grille, while the rear of the car is designed in a laconic design. Seven body colors are available for customers to choose from.
Compared to the previous generation (RB), the new Accent is 65mm longer, 29mm wider and has a 30mm longer wheelbase. All this favorably reflected in the space in the cabin. So, for example, the distance between the front and rear rows has increased by 44 mm, which made it possible to make the rear passengers more comfortable. The luggage compartment of the new Accent is now 480 liters - 20 liters more than the previous model.
"Accent" is equipped with a 1.4-liter gasoline engine, which develops 100 hp. power and torque 132.4 Nm. There are two gearboxes to choose from and both are six-speed: “mechanics” or a torque converter “automatic”.
The sedan is presented in three trim levels: Active, Comfort, Style.
In the Active package, the car has frontal airbags for the driver and front passenger, is equipped with a stability control system, tire pressure control, air conditioning, a full-size spare wheel, front and rear power windows, power and heated rear-view mirrors.
In the Comfort configuration, the car costs from UAH 439,400. and has advanced options for adjusting the driver's seat, folding rear seats, a multimedia system with a 3.8 "LCD display, a remote control for central locking with an automatic trunk opening button.
In the Style package, the cost of the model is UAH 519,500, and the car itself is presented only with an “automatic”, equipped with climate control with an anti-fogging system, a multimedia system with an 8" touch screen and support for Apple Car Play and Android Auto. In addition, the multimedia control keys are removed on the steering wheel, there is a rearview camera, rear parking sensors, front fog lights and a light sensor.The exterior of the configuration is complemented by R15 alloy wheels and a radiator grille with chrome elements.
India-assembled Hyundai Accent is delivered to Ukraine. The production of the model is organized at the Hyundai Motor India plant in Chennai.
