Hyundai Grand Santa Fe (Facelift) — A seven-seater version of the US-made Santa Fe crossover was unveiled at the 2012 New York Auto Show. In 2013, a European version of the model appeared with reconfigured suspension and steering, which is produced in South Korea. And in 2016 at the Chicago Auto Show debuted facelift car with a new design of the front bumper, grille, and front and rear lighting. Of the outwardly imperceptible changes - the body is reinforced by increasing the share of high-strength steel grades in the most critical nodes, new options and a modern media complex have appeared.

To Ukrainian market Grand Santa Fe facelift came out at the beginning of 2017. Our "European" version received an upgraded 2.2-liter four-cylinder CRDi turbodiesel with 200 hp. and a maximum torque of 440 Nm. In all trim levels, an Idle stop & go engine stop and start system appeared. The rigidity of the body has increased compared to pre-reform car by 15%. The rigidity of the rear silent blocks and the anti-roll bar has also been strengthened, which had a positive effect on the energy intensity of the suspension. 

The big Santa Fe is still offered exclusively with a plug-in all-wheel drive system and a six-speed automatic. Acceleration 0-100 km / h takes the seven-seater crossover 9.9 seconds. Fuel consumption is claimed at 10.1 l/100 km in urban mode and 7.8 l/100 km in extra-urban mode. Ground clearance Grand Santa Fe is 180 mm. For passengers to access the third row of seats, the back of the second row seat must be folded forward. The chair itself can also be moved forward and backward. Trunk volume (according to the VDA measurement method) with the third row backrests folded down - 634 liters. For comparison, the usual Hyundai Santa Fe the trunk holds 585 liters.
