Hyundai IONIQ Electric - five-door front-wheel drive hatchback, electric car. Introduced in January 2016 along with the hybrid version of the model. Built on the new Hyundai Motor platform, designed specifically for hybrids and electric cars.

Hidden underground in the electric Ionika is a 28 kWh LG Chem lithium-ion polymer battery, and the hatchback is powered by a 120-horsepower (295 Nm) permanent magnet synchronous motor. From 0 to 100 km/h, the car accelerates in 9.9 seconds, the maximum speed limiter is programmed to 165 km/h, and the declared range in the European NEDC cycle is 280 km. The driver has three driving modes that affect the "agility" of the car and the consumption of electricity: Eco, Normal and Sport. The intensity of the recuperation system is regulated in a range of four steps using the paddles on the steering wheel.
In Ukraine Hyundai IONIQ officially for sale since June 2017. The Korean electric car is available in three trim levels: Comfort, Premium and Top. In the basic equipment, 7 airbags, ABS, ESC, HAC systems, climate control, cruise control, a rear view camera and a light sensor are installed by default.
For the Premium package, heated front seats and steering wheel are additionally provided, as well as wireless charging of smartphones. In winter, the battery heating system with the adaptation of the heat pump will also come in handy.
The top version differs from the Premium version by the road marking tracking system, blind spot monitoring and autonomous emergency braking system. There's also ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, intelligent cruise control and LED headlights.
