Hyundai ix35 2014 - front- or all-wheel drive crossover. Since September 2013, sales of a restyled modification began, which was first officially presented in March of the same year at the Geneva auto show.

The development of an updated version of the Hyundai ix35 was carried out by specialists from the European division in Rüsselsheim (Germany). Among the external updates: bi-xenon headlights with LED inserts, a painted false radiator grille, slightly modified bumpers and LED lights. According to the representatives of the company themselves, serious changes in the appearance of the model are simply useless - the crossover sells well, so the main task was simply to refresh the car, slightly modernizing it.

The main emphasis was made on technical modernization and expansion of the list of equipment. In particular, the 2014 Hyundai ix35 received a reconfigured chassis, and most importantly, new power plants. The gasoline engine of the Theta II family was replaced by a fresh two-liter Nu engine with a volume of 2 liters, which produces 166 horsepower and 205 Nm against 163 horsepower and 194 Nm from its predecessor.

The other powerplant, the 2.0-litre R-series turbodiesel, received an upgraded exhaust gas recirculation system, making it even more economical. The basic gearbox for both gasoline and diesel engines is "mechanics". For a surcharge, instead of a manual transmission, you can order a six-band "automatic".

In addition, depending on the configuration, the restyled crossover boasts a system for changing the force on the steering wheel (like cars KIA, it offers three modes: Normal, Comfort and Sport), better interior trim, a heated steering wheel, front parking sensors and improved color multimedia.

The Hyundai ix35 is offered in the market in four trim levels: Comfort, Express, Style and Top. Serial production of the model has been established at the company's plant in the Czech city of Nošovica.
